Joseph Mazzulla (born June 30, 1988) is an American professional basketball coach and the current head coach of the Boston Celtics in the NBA. Born in Johnston, Rhode Island, to Daniel Mazzulla Jr., an Italian American, and Latersa Mazzulla, an African American, he attended Bishop Hendricken High School, where he excelled as a point guard, making the all-state first team and winning three state titles, including a game-winning shot as a senior.
