Björn Borg is a Swedish former professional tennis player, born on June 6, 1956, in Stockholm, Sweden. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest tennis players in the history of the sport. Borg began his professional career in 1973 and quickly rose to the top, winning multiple Grand Slam titles, including six at the French Open and five consecutive at Wimbledon.
Borg is known for his incredible endurance, speed, and two-handed backhand. He has won numerous individual awards, and holds multiple records, such as being the youngest male French Open champion, until the record was broken in 1989.
Off the court, Borg is also recognized for his influence on the sport, inspiring generations of players and contributing to the popularity of tennis worldwide.
