Gerd Müller is a German former professional footballer, born on November 3, 1945, in Nördlingen, Bavaria. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest strikers of all time. Müller began his professional career with TSV 1861 Nördlingen before moving to Bayern Munich in 1964, where he won numerous titles, including four Bundesliga titles and the UEFA Champions League.
Müller was known for his incredible striking ability, scoring prowess, and versatility. He won numerous individual awards, including the Ballon d'Or in 1970, and holds multiple records, such as the most goals in a calendar year for club and country, a record that stood for 40 years.
Off the field, Müller has also been recognized for his contributions to the development of football in Germany and worldwide.
