Hakeem Olajuwon is a Nigerian-American former professional basketball player, born on January 21, 1963, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest centers in the history of basketball. Olajuwon began his professional career with the Houston Rockets in 1984, where he won two NBA Championships and was named the NBA Finals MVP both times.
Olajuwon is known for his incredible agility, defensive prowess, scoring ability, and footwork. He holds numerous individual awards, including one Most Valuable Player (MVP) award, and multiple records, such as the most career blocked shots in NBA history.
