Hope Solo is an American professional soccer player, born on July 30, 1981, in Richland, Washington. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest goalkeepers of all time. Solo began her professional career with Philadelphia Charge before moving to Saint Louis Athletica in 2009, where she won the Goalkeeper of the Year award.
