Jade Etherington is a British former alpine skier, born on 9 March 1991, in Chatteris, Cambridgeshire. She is recognised as one of the most successful Paralympians in the history of British winter sports. Etherington began her professional career training with the British Disabled Ski Team before making her Paralympic debut at the 2014 Winter Paralympics, where she won multiple medals, including three silvers and one bronze.
Etherington, who is visually impaired, is known for her unwavering determination, exceptional skiing skills, and her ability to overcome adversity. She has inspired numerous individuals with her story, both on and off the ski slopes.
