Julio Granda Zúñiga is a Peruvian chess grandmaster, born on February 25, 1967, in Camaná, Arequipa. He is considered one of the top players in the world. Granda Zúñiga began his professional career in chess in the early 1980s and has achieved numerous victories in tournaments worldwide.
Granda Zúñiga is known for his brilliant tactics, deep understanding of the game, and exceptional endgame skills. He has won numerous individual awards, including the title of Grandmaster, and holds multiple records, such as being a five-time champion of the American Continental Championship.
