Levon Aronian is an Armenian professional chess player, born on October 6, 1982, in Yerevan, Armenia. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest chess players of all time. Aronian began his professional career in Armenia before moving to Germany in 2001, and then to the United States in 2020, where he has continued his successful career.
Aronian is known for his deep understanding of the game, innovative strategies, and versatility. He has won numerous individual awards, including the Chess World Cup twice, and holds multiple records, such as being one of the few players to cross the 2800 Elo rating mark.
