Lisa Carrington is a New Zealand professional canoe sprinter, born on June 23, 1989, in Tauranga, New Zealand. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest canoe sprinters of all time. Carrington began her professional career with the Eastern Bay Canoe Racing Club before moving to the national stage where she has won multiple titles, including three Olympic gold medals.
Carrington is known for her incredible strength, speed, agility, and versatility. She has won numerous individual awards, including World Champion titles, and holds multiple records, such as the most gold medals won by a New Zealand woman at the Olympics.
