Mario Lemieux is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player, born on October 5, 1965, in Montreal, Quebec. He is widely regarded as one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time. Lemieux began his professional career with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1984, where he won multiple titles, including two Stanley Cup Championships.
