Mirabai Chanu is an Indian weightlifter, born on August 8, 1994, in Nongpok Kakching, Manipur. She is widely regarded as one of the finest weightlifters of her generation. Chanu started her professional career locally before gaining international recognition in 2014. She is known for her incredible strength, technique, and determination. She has won numerous individual awards, including a silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
