Omara Durand is a Cuban professional Paralympian athlete, born on November 6, 1982, in Santiago de Cuba. She is widely regarded as one of the greatest Paralympian athletes of all time. Durand began her professional career in athletics at a young age and has been dominating the sprinting events in the T12 category for visually impaired athletes.
Durand is known for her incredible speed, strength, and determination. She has won numerous individual awards and holds multiple records, such as the fastest 100m, 200m, and 400m in the T12 category.
