Sabrina Ionescu is an American professional basketball player, born on December 6, 1997, in Walnut Creek, California. She is widely regarded as one of the most versatile players in women's basketball. Ionescu began her professional career with the New York Liberty in 2020, after a standout collegiate career at the University of Oregon, where she was a three-time consensus All-American.
Ionescu is known for her incredible court vision, scoring ability, and rebounding skills as a guard. She has won numerous individual awards, including the John R. Wooden Award, and holds multiple records, such as the NCAA record for triple-doubles.
